Refund and Delivery Policy

Michelle Nessa Florist understands that purchasing fresh flowers and gifts for friends and loves one is a very important decision and the process should be as easy as enjoyable as possible!

Can you confirm if my order has been delivered?

If you haven’t received an order confirmation and are simply wanting to know that your order has been received by Michelle Nessa Florist,  please contact us at 0404 564 618. We can easily email you confirmation of the order if there has been a system glitch preventing us from sending confirmation first time around. 

What is your refund policy?

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the flowers or gift received, we kindly ask that you contact us for review within 72 hours from the time of purchase. A photograph of the flowers or gift is requested in order for us to review the quality issue and educate our florists. A response to quality issues is usually given within 24 hours of receiving the photo.

In the case of a non-delivery, we require notification within 72 hours  of the order being sent. We will however always look at things on a case-by-case basis and in that instance a redelivery or refund may be offered. Please contact us about your non-delivery.

Refunds are processed within 3 – 5 business days of the customer being notified that their request for a full or partial refund has been granted. Funds are returned either to their credit card or PayPal account depending on their method of payment. If you have requested a refund you will not be charged any cancellation fees.

 

Same Day delivery

Orders must be received before10:00 am. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. Flower deliveries to residential addresses usually occur between 9:00am and 7:00pm, and flower deliveries to work addresses usually occur between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Please note that these delivery times will likely be extended during busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas.

If the flowers are for a timed event (for example, a funeral or business function), we will do their best to assist. However, we strongly recommends you can order the flower 1or 2 days early or  you provide us with an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if too late for the timed event.

We do not guarantee delivery to the following timed events for same day delivery  in Funerals, Wedding Receptions, Parties, Functions.

We do not guarantee delivery to the following places for same  day delivery in Hospitals (especially Intensive Care Units),Army, Airforce and Naval Bases, Ships, Jails, Secure Buildings.

Preferred Delivery Date 
You will be asked to choose delivery date when you place order.  The preferred delivery date you choose is a PREFERENCE ONLY , and we will work our best to ensure your flowers are delivered.  However, we cannot ever guarantee delivery on a specified date or at a specific time as we can't control over the courier delivery process, especially Christmas, Valentine's day, mother's day or any other special occasion or any traffic incidents, weather. 
We would like you to acknowledge that your preferred delivery date is a non-binding estimate only and that you have no claim against us for any delays or earliest.  
 
Authority to Leave the flower if no body Home
Flowers will be affected by the weather view the flowers are a perishable fresh flowers, especially the summer time. We do request that your orders be shipped to an address,( especially townhouse/appartment ) where someone is present at the time of delivery.  We accept no responsibility if there is no body to accept delivery.  Our couriers are instructed to leave the box at the address if there is no body home.  We cannot be held responsible for products that are damaged or stolen as the result of the recipient not being available to receive the parcel and the parcel left outside upon delivery. 
If the delivery address have a gated or security code to protect the building, it is your responsibility to ensure that our couriers will have appropriate access.  If our couriers cannot access the property, you will incur a redeliver fee.If you do not want the order left at the address please ensure this information has been provided in the special instructions field on the order form.
What happens if the recipient of my gift is not there to receive the order I placed?


Michelle Nessa Florist are not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the location at the time of delivery or if incorrect or incomplete information is provided. If you are the customer, you must make sure that the recipient will be at the location on the date given on the order form for delivery or provide alternate instructions.If the courier deems the location to be a "safe" location the item will be left at the address provided. In these cases, delivery will be deemed to have been made successfully. 

If possible, please make sure someone is present at home to receive the flower.  We/our couriers are instructed to leave the flowers in safe place.  We cannot take any responsible for products that are damages or stolen as because of the recipient not being available at home/office.

If the delivery address is Townhouse with security gate or Apartment.  It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is in the delivery address to receive the flower or give us recipient phone no to contact.  We will not take any responsible for the delivery delay if we cannot enter into the security gate.

 

DELIVERY, PHONE NO INFORMATION 

Once you place an order, please ensure the delivery address is correct.  We will not take any responsibility when the order details are insufficient, incorrect details with your order.  Redelivery charges will be applied.  

 Can you deliver to hospitals?

Our florists are experienced in delivering flowers to hospitals but will do so in accordance with hospital policies. Some common policies are:

  • Most flower deliveries cannot be delivered to the recipient's room by the florist and may have to be left at the nursing station.
  • Some hospitals do not allow lilies and latex balloons as they are common allergens.
  • Flowers, plants and fruit cannot be delivered to Intensive Care Wards and Units.

Please check with the hospital, before ordering your flowers for delivery.

 

What if I can't find a product I want online? Can I customise my request?
